Are you ready?
We have serious times ahead!
The voice of the secular media, even in our nation, is united in saying that things will not be the same anymore and the future is heavily clouded. Just look at the suicide rate in our nation. Have people lost hope for tomorrow?

Is our civilisation collapsing? Civilisation consists of law and order, justice and doing things right. We see major breakdowns in this. Marriage is considered trivial, and selfishness and greed devours us like a hungry dragon at the edge of every city.
Educational systems are belching out ideologies that are literally destroying minds and warping true gentleness and faith. Law and order has broken down for sure. Our TV shows have become artificial excitement manufactured for an audience who love fantasy and fanfare more than facing the hard realities of the world we live in. Hunger is real, and millions die in dire need. Health care is a joke. Our sexuality has lost its dignity and children are used, abused and confused. And we are paying a costly price for our mindless materialism…boredom and a sense of deep emptiness. We cannot depend on faithful friends and family anymore. A lethargic loneliness has struck us hard, and we have entered into a black hole from which we cannot see any light.
Many respected voices are defied and come against. Is there any honesty and integrity left? Or have we covered our feelings and lusted after cash and kind more than any other generation on earth?
We are living in apocalyptic times indeed. The symptoms are clear, the signs are evident and the surety is our ever-putrefying destructive pride.
Please listen, it is easy to quote a bunch of convincing Scriptures from the Bible and say, “See! I told you so. We are in the last days.” Even secular doomsayers are saying the same things.
But are you ready? Have you taken the scalpel of true conviction and spliced open your heart to see if there is any wicked way there?
Second Timothy 3:1 where the Apostle Paul, writing to Timothy toward the close of Paul’s ministry, puts it this way:
But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of stress. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, inhuman, implacable, slanderers, profligates, fierce, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding the form of religion but denying the power of it.
That sounds very much like the closing words of the first chapter of Romans, which speaks of a time of unbelievable sadism and brutality, when senseless violence will occur, when people will seemingly forsake all the normal limitations against injury to others and there will be crimes of incredible malice and evil.
