THE TRAVESTY OF TRUTH GONE AWRY

I stand amazed as Christians of today’s Church are so immature and gullible. They will believe anything that has the ‘miraculous’ without being Berean about it. They will look at the outward without delving into the deep. They will believe fast talking, loud mouthed, storytelling men who speak out of fleshly logic and high nonsense!

The writer to the Hebrews mentions three solid things we need to take note of in our day.

Hebrews 5:12-14

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Firstly, that most believers are still wallowing in puerility and irresponsibility. After being in church for years they have never ‘grown up’ in the things of God and it is sad that they are happy in themselves, as they mingle with the world, and dance with the Devil. Hebrews 5:12, says they need milk and cannot digest strong meat.

Secondly, like children thy are not able to divide the Word of Truth and still are dependent on others as their walk with God are like spiritual babies. Look at Hebrew 5:13.

Finally, they have not come to ‘full age’ or cannot discern morality choices as mature Christians do. They are easily carried away with every wind of Doctrine and led astray with lies and falsehood. Hebrew 5:14 is so succinctly put.

The conclusion is they are carnal. They speak with a carnal tongue, and work with carnal hands. 1 Corinthians 2:15-3:4

Sad!

Rabbi Eli Mischel says that this is not about people disagreeing or seeing things differently especially in these last days where fundamentals of society have been eradicated to such an extent as we see today.

Isaiah 5:20 NIV

20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

Here Isaiah is describing something far more essential. This is a complete inversion of reality itself.

He’s warning about a time when society wouldn’t just be confused – it would literally turn things upside down, calling light darkness and darkness light.

Another learned Rabbi mentions that this inversion serves a specific purpose in history. He teaches that just before the final redemption can come upon earth, reality must reach its most distorted state – what he calls “hafuch al hafuch,”, or in English, “inversion upon inversion.”

Beloved, this is not just unplanned chaos, but a necessary phase in the redemptive process of God. The ultimate truth can only emerge in its purest form when its opposite has reached its complete form of expression.

Look at the stars. It is only in complete darkness that we can see them in their full brilliance!

Similarly, when falsehood reaches its absolute peak – when it becomes so obvious that lies and conniving and manipulation comes to a head – the truth becomes clearer than ever through sheer contrast.

It is here that we are watching the fulfillment of ancient prophecy – one that promises us in these final days, that truth would have to be turned completely upside down before it could be fully restored.

This does not mean that we should accept their lies and deceit, but remember that God always has a higher way and a deeper cause.

And as we remain calm and determined this is indeed the explosion of falsehood and darkness in our time and is part of God’s plan for the world, part of a larger process leading toward light, revelation and Godly wisdom to those that believe.

Hence in this world of confusion, the fundamental thing is to remain latched in to the Truth, remain, walking in the Light, and remain trusting in God’s Holy Word daily.

We must understand that this confusion – as frustrating and painful as it is – is itself a sign that we’re moving toward seeing the Truth unfold in miraculous ways.

As we witness the world turning truth upside down, remember: the darkness doesn’t just foretell the dawn – it’s the very darkness that makes the coming light impossible to ignore!

So please remember, the darker their lies and deceit become, the more blinding the truth will be when it finally bursts through.
