THE SEED WAR IS INTENSIFYING TODAY…Part 3

The basic premise of the Bible is that there is a spiritual realm, in which there are principalities and powers. Do not be surprised but all of them are linked with earthly rulers.

Looking at the Scriptures…Deuteronomy 32 tells the story of Israel and how she had come to be God’s chosen nation.

Moses begins by glorifying God and then telling them to “remember the days of old.”

Deuteronomy 32:8–9:

When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance, when he divided all mankind, he set up boundaries for the peoples according to the number of the sons of Israel.

For the Lord’s portion is his people, Jacob his allotted inheritance.

When we look carefully and study the true context of the above passage, we get to know something very real and very significant. To understand this with a fuller mindset, we have to perceive this event watchfully, and go back to the time of Nimrod. This is the period of the rebellion at the Tower of Babel. All this is given in Genesis 11.

Nimrod was leading the unification of all mankind, to become their leader and begin a ‘One World Government.’ (Remember he was a ‘mighty hunter.’ Genesis 10:8). But God separated them by confusing their languages and tongues. Then God divided them into the seventy nations (of the Gentiles) and their ownership of those bordered lands as the ‘inheritance’ of those peoples. Genesis 10:32.

But inheritance works in heaven as it does on earth!

The people of Jacob (Israel) would become Yahweh’s allotted inheritance while the other seventy Gentile nations were the allotted inheritance of the ‘Sons of God.’

So, who were these ‘Sons of God’ who ruled over the Gentile nations (Psalm 82:1-8)?

Many believe they were human rulers. Others argue for their identities as supernatural principalities and powers.

I believe these were heavenly beings. In the study of Psalm 82, they just cannot be humans.

The phrase ‘Sons of God’ is a technical term that means divine beings from God’s heavenly throne and court (Job 1:6; 38:7), and they are referred to with many different titles.

Quoting from Dr. Michael Heiser, (https://drmsh.com/), former Scholar-in-Residence for Faithlife Corporation, the makers of Logos Bible Software…and also from Brian Godawa, (https://godawa.com/books/chronicles-of-the-watchers/psalm-82/).

They are sometimes called ‘heavenly host’ (Isaiah 24:21-22), sometimes called ‘holy ones’ (Deuteronomy 33:2-3), sometimes called ‘the divine council’ (Psalm 82:1), sometimes called ‘Watchers’ (Daniel 4:13, 17, 23), and sometimes called ‘gods’ or elohim in the Hebrew (Deuteronomy 32: 17, 43; Psalm 82:1; 58:1-2).

God’s Word calls these beings gods. Don’t be surprised.

But that is not polytheism. And this is why. The word ‘god’ in this sense is a replacement for a ‘heavenly being’ or a ‘divine being’ whose realm is that of the spiritual.

It also does not mean uncreated beings who are all-powerful and all-knowing. Yahweh alone is that God. Yahweh is the God of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17; Psalm 136:2). He created the other elohim (‘gods’).

In actuality, these ‘gods’ are created angelic beings who are most precisely referred to as ‘Sons of God.’

Now this is the explanation. Before the Flood, some of these heavenly Sons of God rebelled against Yahweh and left their divine dwelling to come to earth (Jude 6), where they desecrated Yahweh’s holy separation and copulated with human women (Genesis 6:1-4).

This was not an ethnic separation, but a spiritual one.

The corrupt fusion of the two seeds (human and angelic), resulted in the ‘Nephilim’ (giants), and their effect on humanity included horrible corruption and violence on the earth. Genesis 6:5. Therefore, God sent the Flood to wipe everyone out and start over again with Noah and his family.

Now remember that Genesis 6:4 says… ‘there were giants in the earth in those days; and also, after that…’. Regrettably, after the Flood humans once again united in wickedness with these ‘fallen angels’, while building the Tower of Babel, and joined in the idolatrous worship of these false gods.

That is why, God confused their tongues and divided them into the seventy nations. And more than that… since they wouldn’t stop worshipping these demon gods, the living God, our Yahweh, gave them over to their lusts (Romans 1:24, 26, 28) and placed them under the authority of the fallen Sons of God whom they worshipped.

So, Deuteronomy 32 powerfully reveals the spiritual reality behind the deceitful gods of the nations, calling them ‘demons’ (Deuteronomy 32:17; also Psalm 106:37-38).

In the New Testament Apostle Paul later ascribes demonic reality to satanic gods as well (1 Corinthians 10:20; 8:4-6). Paul also continues this ancient notion that spiritual principalities and powers lay behind earthly powers (Ephesians 6:12; 3:10).

Always remember that historical events in our world are very linked with whatever happens in the heavens. And world leaders are very affected by the supernatural beings and their satanic agendas. If they are controlled by evil then we see their works full of injustice, mayhem and evil. If they allow God over their lives, then their lives and decisions are ordained by the God of Heaven and become a blessing to all mankind.

More next time.
