THE REALITY OF THE SPIRIT REALM

The realm of the Spirit is more alive than I have ever known in the past.

I understand that there is so much around that is a paradox of sorts. On one hand there is death and fear with this corona virus as never before in the city of Mumbai, while on the other hand the angelic hosts are active as ever!

Have you noticed that?

And so why do I say this? This is probably due to two happenings. Firstly, there is a shocking hostility in the things of the Lord, suddenly risen right from the beginning of this year 2020, and secondly, what I notice is that speedily more and more prayer is garnered by the saints. Churches are interceding. Churches are more active than their ‘normal’ schedules. Churches are worshipping more than ever. Churches are preaching the Gospel more than ever. There is a definite shift in the whole spiritual atmosphere. And…church buildings are empty!

Have you noticed that?

Well, I do.

So, who are angels? Is the church of today ‘open’ to them or do they think this was only meant for the Old Testament and the Early Church? Most Evangelicals, or even so called ‘modern’ churches are not really open to these beings from above and mostly shy away from talking about these topics.

Most times I have faced ridicule when I talk about them, and especially when I share my personal interactions with them.

But angels are real. Angels are supernatural beings from Heaven. Angels are among us. Angels watch over us faithfully. Angels can communicate with us, if the Holy Spirt desires so. Angels never ever break the code and ethics of the Holy Scriptures. Angels guard us. Angels appear in our dreams. Angels encamp around us. Angels are ‘messengers of fire’ sent to us for specific purposes and at specific times. Angels are God’s secret agents; they know what is happening around us even when we are ignorant of those facts. Angels are assigned to specific geographical territories by God. Angels are also assigned to us individually. Angels have been assigned to protect local churches and their congregations. Angels have their own hierarchy. Angels are submitted only to the Holy Spirit. Angels are beings with great power. Angels live in a higher dimensional plane than us and can enter and leave our realm anytime they choose. Angels long to look into the glories of the plan of salvation as it works out in our lives every day. Angels are not subject to earthly forces. Angels have distinct personalities. Angels can communicate with each other. Angels are very worshipful and will congregate anywhere where there is true worship going on. Angels love to worship the Father along with us. Angels will fight for us, as they are always ready to vanquish the enemy on our behalf. Angels encourage us. Angels give us strength from God when we are weak. Angels are a separate creation of God. Angels are not to be worshipped. Angels are not to sought after; they will come only if Heaven so desires. Angels are not those little kinds of ‘babies’ that carry bows and arrow on Valentine’s Day. Angels have a much greater understanding of God than we do. And Angles are real!!

So real, that they could be beside you right now reading this blog with you!

I love to talk about the spiritual realm. I always say this realm is more real, more tangible, more authentic and more needed today.

The prophets knew these angels. The Apostles were accompanied by them, the Patriarchs met them and conversed with them. The Early Church was ever familiar with them.

I challenge you to begin to ask the Holy Spirit to ‘open’ your eyes so that you may walk in this Apostolic prayer I love so much, and I have prayed more than a million times over the years…(no exaggeration here!)

I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people…Eph 1:17,18

Walk in your Kingdom inheritance. And hey…learn to look around you please!
