YOU SURE OF YOUR ROOTS MAN…?

The massive news that comes in on an hourly basis really discourages you. This is because we have never gone through this time in our lives ever. Not in my lifetime at least…and I’m a senior citizen!

What the Bible says about these times is so very true.

The Global Elite and their diabolical plans for our earth seem to be succeeding. The population is dying by the thousands every day. Economic instability is all around. Soon one demon possessed individual will take over to bring a momentary equilibrium, filled with lying wonders. The frustrated public will lap up all this guy says and come under his control, taking his vaccines and his ‘mark’ and be ‘free’ or so they will seem to be! This guy and his systems will know all about you, your income, your travel, your family and all your ways. They will also tell you what to eat, where to go and how to run your education and family.

Thank God this will be only for a very short season.

But for now, more than half of the entire world is in some form of lockdown or the other. Some leaders have gone into hiding. There is an economic drought that will take our nation of India at least two years to recover, say some experts. Jobs have disappeared. Daily wagers are already in starvation. Crops have failed somehow. Markets are riding under a shadow of doubt. Businesses are ready to pack-up and call it a day. Wow! And so much more…!

As I look into Psalm 18:1-3, David says…I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

David had just been delivered from his enemies, especially Saul. Many times, he nearly went under. But his love for God was never shaken. He knew his Deliverer. He knew he was always safe under God’s strongholds and the surety of the shielding of heaven over him. So are you!

At this time when everything seems hazy and nothing seems to make sense anymore. Always remember that God loves you intrinsically and will keep you safe in His arms. Heaven keeps a watch over you. Because God will cause no harm to come to you.

Condition: You must be Born Again, according to the Scriptures. You must be a true follower of Jesus. You must love God and read and meditate His precious Word. You must know that when you pray daily, God hears your cry, because you are His!

David also knew this main foundational truth that kept him all of this life. He mentions it in Psalm 37:25…I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.

Please be encouraged. In time of drought and famine. In hard times, because you believe in the God who rules the heavens and the earth, you know for sure in your own heart. You will never beg for bread. And God will always keep you provisioned and provided for.

What is really on my heart is Psalm 1: 1-4. Here it is. Do read it for yourself.

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither — whatever they do prospers. Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.

In short here is my encouragement and challenge for you today.

As you keep away from the junk this world offers and begin to love and cherish the Lord and His Word you will be planted and rooted for sure.

And no matter what is happening around us. No matter if the economy drops. No matter if we live in the midst of disease infestation. No matter if our provisions are challenged. No matter what season encompasses us. No matter what…

When you trust in the Lord, you shall become like a tree. Planted, set strong, rooted, immovable, where no storm or flood can uproot you. Your leaf…or your life and lifestyle will be prosperous because you will be fruitful in the many seasons of your life here on earth. Amen!

Let me share a closing verse…for those who are really challenged.

Jeremiah 17:7, 8…

But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Look at the elements of life here. A tree planted. By the water…the river speaks of all God’s Grace, Presence and provision. Roots…strong foundations. No worries. In a year of drought…some long seasons, some short seasons. Never fails…God Promises our surety. Bear fruit…always profitable no matter what.

Hey, watch your roots. Don’t let the enemy hack them under your feet.

Love ya all!
