THE TITANS ARE BACK!

As a student of the Bible, I have learned to look for secular academia for added information. Please wait! Before you hang me, and label me a rebel, I would like to make myself clear.

Why did God ask His people or His prophets to do strange things, Like Elijah on Mount Carmel and the prophets of Baal? Why did Joshua march around the walls of Jericho? These are answers to these questions that are deep rooted in the history, the culture, the religion of Israel. All this really provides the background image of what you will ever read and study. They lived in the Bible times and in the Bible lands. We will never understand them unless we have a picture of their geography, their history, their Geo-political happenings and such. And so, context is essential whilst interpreting Scripture.

So, in context, these old pagan gods never ever went away. They are not make-believe. They are real. And they are coming back in great force in these last days.

The Titans are back. And I have said this before. Hollywood has dressed them up and glorified them. The movies display their kindness to us humans, and we think…wah! this is so good. But as you look into reality. They hate us. They want to kill us. And they are back with the vengeance of Hell behind them, empowering them to steal, kill and destroy.

The Devil is not alone. And he has got his minions with him. Let me share with you a truth. You may not like this…but this IS the truth. The guys who so control the media, the movies, the cartoons, the magazines, the video games. And all that…they are really the Titan advertisers. They have been doing this for more than a hundred years now.

I remember how I myself was addicted to Superman, Batman and Robin, and Spiderman comics. But then when I met Jesus face to face and I was Born Again according to John chapter 3, I realized what I was doing.

Then came the movies, and then today these characters look so human, until they mutate to demons. We are filled with the X-Men, and the TV shows with demon possessed magicians, and live occult interviews with witches and such.

Here is the truth. And you better take note of what I am saying. Our children and grandchildren are basking in the light of these so called ‘heroes’. They wear their T-shirts, play with their stuffed toys, and imagine mock fights as they play with their videos. We ourselves purchase these things for our children and let them live in this make-believe world. They don’t realize they are being lied to, and psyched into receiving these, even with having soul-ties with them. Shockingly this is today’s family entertainment.

Derek Gilbert, in his book, Last Clash of the Titans, says, “Take Herakles (or Hercules, if you prefer): He was worshiped from at least the time of Solomon until 200 B.C. or later, more than eight hundred years. The Phoenicians and Carthaginians called him Melqart, and he was the patron god of Tyre at the time that city’s most famous daughter, Jezebel, was Ahab’s queen in Israel. That means the Baal, which simply means “lord,” of Jezebel was probably Herakles. And that means the 450 prophets of Baal slaughtered on Mount Carmel after their showdown with the Hebrew prophet Elijah were probably priests of Herakles. If Herakles was a historic person and truly was the half-divine son of a god (Zeus, the Greek storm-god), then by definition he was one of the Nephilim. According to the Book of Enoch, Herakles would have died in the Flood of Noah, which means his spirit, like those of his demigod brothers and cousins, wanders the earth as a demon to this day”.

But listen folks…today this guy is a Disney cartoon, a Hollywood character, an artist’s canvas, and a computer wallpaper.

And hey! If you have their paraphernalia, their spirits live in your home!
